Sixty-two years ago, Tracey Williams brought the world a beautiful new light. A mother, a daughter, neighbor, friend and staunch community activist, Tracey's light shines brighter than ever as she continues to dedicate her life to providing the lift Oakland's most vulnerable populations so desperately need.

Twenty-seven years ago, Tracey founded urban university, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to social justice and socio-economic support. The lives impacted since urban university's inception are countless, benefiting generations beyond the program participants. The last ten years have been dedicated to helping homeless or housing insecure single mothers and their children by providing long-term housing and on-the-job training. 

In honor of our founder's 62nd turn around the sun, we call on the community to continue supporting urban university's mission through a direct donation. Join us in celebrating this amazing woman!
